Returns & Exchanges Policy
1. Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights to returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with UK consumer law.
2. Standard (Non-Custom) Products
For all non-custom, in-stock items (e.g. fly lines, accessories):

You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item once you’ve notified us.
To be eligible:

Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging

Proof of purchase is required
Refunds:

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods

Original shipping costs are refundable (standard delivery only)
-
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
3. Exchanges (Standard Products)
We are happy to offer exchanges for:

Incorrect size/specification
-
Faulty or damaged goods
Subject to stock availability.
4. Custom & Bespoke Products
All custom-built fly rods and bespoke items are non-refundable and non-returnable, as they are made to your exact specifications.
This includes:

Custom split cane fly rods
-
Personalised or engraved items
-
Any made-to-order products
This is in line with UK law regarding “goods made to the consumer’s specifications”, which are exempt from cancellation rights.
5. Faulty or Defective Custom Products
If your custom-built item has a material defect or workmanship issue, we will:

Repair the item, or
-
Replace it where appropriate, or
-
Offer a refund where repair/replacement is not possible
You must notify us within a reasonable timeframe after discovering the issue.
This does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care
6. Deposits for Custom Orders
For bespoke rod commissions:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work
-
The balance is payable upon completion prior to dispatch
Once production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled.
7. Return Process

Photos (if item is faulty)
We will provide return instructions.
8. Shipping & Risk

Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received

We recommend using a tracked and insured service
9. International Orders
For international customers:

Return shipping, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer

Refunds will not include any customs charges
